nursing school? yes, i am in nursing school
why nursing school? too many reasons, really. lets go with i needed a career change. or a career, really.
where are you attending nursing school? mount carmel college of nursing
how long will you be in school this time? 13 months. i graduate january 2011.
what type of a program are you in? second degree advanced program. sdap for short. it is a program for people who already have a bachelor's degree but want to go back to school for nursing.
what kind of a degree/certification will you receive? in january 2011 i will receive a bsn (bachelors of science in nursing).
how many people are in your program? 72. and of that maybe 10 are men.
are you working while in school? i am not supposed to as the sdap program is intense and rigorous. but right now i am. i am short a class, thanks to transfer credit!

Cool. I knew you were in nursing school, but I didn't realize you were attending Mt. Carmel. You and I have something in common for our fields of study - mine being elementary education - mostly females are in it. Good luck, and work hard!
