flying

I flew to Salt Lake City today for my niece's baptism/sister-in-laws baby shower. Here are some random things that I have thought about flying today:
  • I don't like to talk to strangers. This guy sat by me and kept trying to talk to me. Have you seen the movie Taken? If you have, I think you can understand why I wouldn't want to talk to strangers in airports. FYI: I really really hate (yes, I know that hate is a strong word. But I really do not like that movie and absolutely don't recommend it) that movie.
  • People watching. This is one of the best things about flying. You get to observe people interacting with others. On my connecting flight there was a gorgeous anorexic girl wearing a Punky Brewster type outfit (remember that show?? I was never allowed to watch it....) with this total not as good looking as she guy with.....a MULLET! Really! Don't people realize how hideous a mullet is? Back to people watching. There are some really interesting people in the world! I saw lots of crazy tatoos, piercings, and outfits.
  • My favorite part of flying is when then plane is begining its decent how cool it is too view everything from above. I love the feeling that I am bigger than everything and seeing all the houses and parks.
