the past couple of days have offered up many reasons to give thanks to my father in heaven. i know that he knows me and loves me. these are a few of the things that i have be grateful for!!
- this weekend i was spiritually fed. i was only able to watch the sunday morning session live but i have completed watching the other three sessions over the internet. i love our dear prophet. i think i learned a way that i can improve myself from every talk.
- i saw a fox!!

- i think that it's safe to say that i have lost ten pounds. we have two different scales in our house but i try to only weigh myself on the one that is in my bathroom especially after learning that there can be a five pound difference between the two!! one of the scales is definitely not accurate. this morning, curiosity finally got the better of me and i weighed myself on both scales. and no matter which scale i stood on, i was ten pounds (or a little more when counting the inaccuracy) lighter than before i started working out consistently. now i need to buy a new belt.
- but maybe the thing that makes me the most happy is the invitation i got to wear royal blue scrubs! i got a job offer! i had interviewed (and it was a great interview) on a med/surg unit back at the beginning of march and even shadowed another nurse on the floor. but i never heard anything back from the manager and had decided to just chalk it up to interview experience under my belt. on friday i got a call from hr but due to my work schedule, i was never able to connect with the department. i was pretty sure that a job offer was coming so i had a couple of days to ponder and pray about it. when the offer was extended today, i accepted!
