little randoms

• the best part of being a nurse is having three days off. even better is that it's three days off in a row
• my favorite type of patients are neuro patients. who can explain how an eight-five year old rips iv tubing literally in half. i don't think i even have that kind of strength.oh and then this patient takes the halfed tubing, wraps it behind a chair and even ties it in a bow. or my patient with alcohol withdrawl who hears rap music and giggles at nothing and everything. makes me want to giggle. i'm horrible, i know
• coming home to an empty house equals me having a dance party and talking to myself. one day i just might have to be a neuro patient myself
• buying cute clothes even when ninety percent of the time all i wear is srubs, gym type clothes or pajamas
• letters from missionaries! my brother, the elder in colorado (cause i'm way too old to be waiting for a missionary of my own!)
